The Norwood Swimming Centre is open 7 days a week during the swim season, excluding Christmas Day and Good Friday.

Located just off The Parade, Norwood, this much loved 1950s swimming centre is a 'classic Australian local pool' within a rivergum shaded setting.

The Norwood Swimming Centre’s big shady gum trees and “backyard feel” is the perfect place to cool down and relax with friends and family – or even boost your fitness by doing laps!

Facilities:

  • shaded toddler pool
  • 50 metre main pool
  • inflatable obstacle course (every Sunday between 12.30pm and 3.30pm from December to end of February)
  • change rooms
  • shower and bathroom facilities
  • BBQs, and a
  • kiosk.

The Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre is closed for a major upgrade.

The much-loved Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre will be transformed into an exciting water park — delighting swimmers, families and the wider community.
